A few ingredients, plenty of flavor.
Practical advice
Tomato connects pasta, pizza and bruschetta, but texture differs: reduced sauce, thin dough topping or drained toast topping. Add basil at the end. Only the pizza needs proofing.
| Recipe | Total time | Servings | Rest or waiting included |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tomato and basil pasta | 30 min | 4 | — |
| Homemade margherita pizza | 100 min | 4 | 60 min |
| Tomato bruschetta | 20 min | 4 | — |
Practical notes
Tomatoes need three different treatments here: drain them for bruschetta, loosen the pasta sauce with cooking water, and keep pizza toppings thin and dry enough for the base to bake. Choose pasta or bruschetta for an immediate start; pizza needs rising and preheating time. This domestic pizza recipe does not claim a Neapolitan certification. The linked ingredient and technique guides explain the differences in moisture control.
